When are you open?
Our showroom is open from 7 AM to 5 PM Monday - Friday and 8 AM to 12 PM on Saturday. Our online order fulfillment team works Monday - Friday.
It's after hours, and I have an emergency, can you help?
Our emergency services team is on call 24/7 - nights, weekends, and holidays - to help when you have an urgent need outside of business hours. This team is unable to access any information about online orders!!
I placed an order online, can you give me an update on my order status?
If you created an account during checkout, your order status is on your account page. You can also email us at email@example.com, and a representative will help you. Please be sure to include your order number and a phone number if you would like a callback.
Do you sell steel online?
Yes! Please check our Steel Store, where you can choose from a large selection of our most popular products and specify custom cuts. We have a large variety of carbon steel structural shapes, as well as galvanized, stainless, and aluminum. If you need a steel product not available in our online store, please reach out to us, and one of our sales reps can help you at 713-991-7600 or request a quote.
What other products do you carry?

When will my online order ship?
We typically ship online orders in 1-2 business days. Current conditions (COVID-19) may change this, though we are working hard to stay on track. If you order an item that is on back-order, we will reach out to you via email with an estimated shipping date.
What is your return policy for items purchased online?
If you would like to return items purchased online, please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include your order number and details about which items you would like to return and why. All return items must be in new condition and you will be responsible for return shipping costs. We cannot accept returns after 30 days or without prior authorization.
What shipping options do you offer for items purchased online?
Options include Ground, 2nd-Day Air, Next-Day Air, and Next-Day Air Early AM. If you are purchasing a large quantity or long length, we will quote you LTL (less-than-truckload) Freight shipment.
How much does shipping cost?
Our shipping quotes come directly from our shipping provider based on the weight and dimensions of the material you order. To estimate shipping on your order, choose the quantity of an item you would like to purchase, click "Add to Cart." Then, once you have added all the things you would like to buy, click "Checkout" on the Add to Cart popup. You can access your cart from anywhere on the site by clicking the cart icon in the header. Once in your cart, you can enter your zip code on the left sidebar (or under your cart on a mobile device) and click "Estimate Shipping."
Shipping Steel is Expensive! Can you ship it for less?
Our shipping quotes are direct from our shipping providers. However, you can save money on shipping steel by requesting it cut to the shortest specified length for your project. Pieces under 48" are the cheapest to ship, and 92" is the longest we can ship via a standard ground carrier. Longer items must go via freight. There are price breaks at 144" and 240". Typically, our custom cutting charges are far cheaper than shipping oversized items.
Do you have a minimum purchase requirement?
In order to provide the highest quality service to every customer and to efficiently process all orders, we have a $5.00 minimum order.
What payment methods do you accept for items purchased online?
VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. If you an existing customer with terms, you can choose "offline payment" & we will bill your order to your account.
Do you charge sales tax on online purchases?
The sales tax rate is 8.25% for all items shipped to the State of Texas. We do not charge sales tax on items shipped outside of Texas. If you are tax exempt or purchasing for resale and we can set up an account for you, please reach out to us at email@example.com.
Do you deliver?
Absolutely! Minimum orders are delivered free in the Metro Houston area. Small orders require a nominal charge. Outlying areas of Houston require a higher minimum for free delivery and cost more. You can choose this delivery option during checkout from any of the web stores we ship Ornamental Iron, Steel, and Pipe Fittings. We can also ship anywhere in the US via a common carrier.
Will you unload my delivery?
Unfortunately, the answer is no. While we'll do everything to make your delivery as easy as possible, the cumbersome nature of steel prevents our drivers from unloading. Most times, it's physically impossible for one person to unload by hand.
Do you sell salvage or surplus material?

Can you cut it for me?
We can! We routinely (and quickly) cut material in half (or smaller pieces) for ease in handling and reducing shipping costs. You can specify custom cuts on the selection of Steel, aluminum, and stainless available in our web store. We can precision cut material, miter ends, and cut shapes out of plate up to 6" think to your specifications; please request a quote or call us at 713-991-7600!
Can you ship it if I am out of your delivery area?
