A Quick Call That Changed Everything

He joined Steel Supply in 2012, starting in the warehouse after applying through a talent agency. In fact, he received a call to meet with Steel Supply before he even arrived home from the agency.

Growing Through Grit and Dedication

Over the years, Erik’s strong work ethic and dedication have enabled him to rise through the ranks and become our Warehouse Lead. Recently, he was promoted to the Purchasing Department as a Procurement Analyst, a role where his hands-on experience with our materials has proven invaluable.

Hands-On Experience Meets New Opportunities

When asked what he enjoys most about working at Steel Supply, Erik points to the opportunities for growth he’s experienced firsthand. His favorite part of the job is being deeply involved in the work itself—something he continues to do with great pride every day.

A Day in the Life

A typical day for Erik includes managing transfers between locations, ensuring customer orders are fulfilled, and, in his words, “being a bit of a Winston Wolf-like cleaner”, someone who steps in to make sure everything runs smoothly.

Life Beyond the Warehouse

Outside of work, Erik enjoys spending time improving the home he and his wife recently purchased.
