Butterfly Valves

We were recently honored to source a large quantity if Butterfly Vales for a customer and thought it a good opportunity to discuss them.

Butterfly valves are quarter-turn valves used to regulate or isolate the flow of liquids, gases, or slurries in a piping system.

They consist of a circular disc mounted on a rotating shaft; when the valve is turned, the disc either blocks or allows flow, providing quick and efficient operation.

Known for their compact design, lightweight construction, and cost-effectiveness, butterfly valves are commonly used in industries such as water treatment, HVAC, oil and gas, and chemical processing. They offer reliable performance with minimal maintenance and are especially well-suited for applications requiring fast shutoff and space-saving installation.
